How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking in as soon as possible, especially for weekends and popular dates, as our calendar fills up quickly.

I know my date but not the details yet – can I still book?

Yes! We offer Save the Date bookings, which let you secure your date with a deposit while you finalise the details of your order closer to the time.

What flavours do you offer?

We have a wide range of flavours and fillings to choose from – visit our Flavours & Fillings page for the full list.

What days do you take orders?

We generally take orders Thursday to Sunday.

What are your pickup times?

Thursday – Friday pickup window is 12pm – 4pm. Saturday – Sunday pickup window is 9am – 10am.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, delivery is available. Weekday deliveries are between 10am – 4pm, and weekend deliveries are between 9am – 11am. Delivery is charged at $1.25 per km, each way.

Can I pick up from another location?

Yes, pickup is also available from our Bacchus Marsh and Yarraville locations, pending availability.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

All custom orders are subject to availability and are only confirmed once a deposit has been paid and acknowledged by Butter Haus. Final payment is required prior to your event date, as outlined in your invoice. Deposits, including Save the Date deposits, are non-refundable as they secure your booking date and allocate production capacity.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Due to the custom and perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind. See our full Return & Refund Policy for more details.

What if there is an issue with my order?

Please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery, along with photos, so we can review the matter promptly.

Do you cater to dietary requirements or allergies?

We accommodate dietary requests where possible; however, all cakes are prepared in the same kitchen and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
